2001 VE Session

As a result from the five week Technician Class Course, we now have 5 new HAMs in our area. Of the nine people starting the class seven finished. One dropped due to lack of transportation. The seven tested and five of them successfully passed and are new Technician Class Hams. One also passed his General theory and is now looking forward to working on his code. If you wish to help by loaning him your old code tapes please get with me. One of the new Techs is ten years old.

PLEASE TREAT THESE NEW HAMS WITH DIGNITY AND ASSIST THEM WITH GETTING ON THE AIR AND WORK WITH THEM TO BECOME GOOD HAMS. We lose over 50% of the new hams in the first year. Let’s keep these folks radio active.
