Bible
Verse
Joel 2:12-13 --- “Even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.” Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity. (NIV)
President's Report
Hello All,
The Huntsville ham fest did not disappoint this year! Josh with Ham2.0 was on hand and making his way around the tables. All that were in attendance found that there was plenty of deals to be had. I personally bought a used set of duplexers and hope to have another repeater on the air soon. With the news of new repeaters in the area, I will go ahead and add that some of these will require new radios to access them, and yes they can be found cheap. The DMR wave will soon be in Meridian and hopefully be accessible when not in town by way of the Internet.
I have heard from several interested parties that would like to see a class on soldering, so one is being put together as we speak. All I can say at the moment is that, if you want to know more we hope to have you present at our next meeting. With that I’ll say 73’s and see you at the round table.

GE to all: It is the time of year for both the Lauderdale Repeater Group and Meridian Amateur Radio Club to jointly pay for Liability Insurance to cover both groups and repeater sites. This year’s premium is $316.00 for a one year policy. I urge everyone to help pay for this expense. If you use any one of / or both repeaters just remember these do not stay on the air all by themselves. All donations will be greatly appreciated. Dennis NO5C
