President's Report
Hello all,
First off we have a meeting coming up this weekend on Saturday morning at the Checkerboard around 10 am. We also have a section emergency communication simulation at 9 am, if anyone wants to participate in this we will be glad to have a Net starting at 9 am for checkins.
I know this is short notice, but I was reminded of it during our Tuesday night net. If you are interested in this exercise and will be available please email me so we can plan to get the net started on time, the only time we may not be on the net may be during the meeting but we will try to have it manned during that time. meridianarc@gmail.com

Huntsville Hamfest
August 19 & 20, 2017
Admission: is $10, under 12 free.
Hamfest Hours: The hamfest will be open to the public Sat, 9:00–4:30 PM and Sun, 9:00–3:00 PM.
Grand prize drawing will be Saturday at 4:00 PM and Sunday at 2:00 PM.
