Bible Verse

Matthew 24:12-14 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. NIV

Please call (601) 626-0053 if you need directions or have any questions. If you wish to participate in gift exchange, please bring a gift and limit the cost to $5. You are asked to bring a pot luck dish however this is not a requirement. Please call Debbie and advise her of what you will be bringing. The club voted to spend $75 for any additional needs. Have a good month! Debbie and I look forward to seeing all of you at the Christmas party. God Bless you!

Message from ARRL Director WD4Q

As we approach the holiday season, some will be traveling, others will be hunting, operating your radios, playing and watching sports, visiting family members and relaxing.  Whatever, you decide to do in this holiday season, I would like to wish you and your families continued joy, happiness and safe days this holiday season.

I hope most of you have seen the FCC's Report and Order in WT Docket No. 04-140 that will be taking effect on December 15, 2006 at 1201 a.m. EST.  I ask you to read David Sumner, K1ZZ - ARRL CEO in the December
2006 QST, page 9.  Go to the ARRL Web Site and read
 http://www.arrl.org/news/stories/2006/11/15/100/?nc=1

We are still waiting the release of the Report and Order for 05-235, the Morse Code Proceeding.  There is a link on the ARRL Web Site to a band plan chart and frequently asked questions on WT Docket No. o4-140 (FCC's Omnibus Amateur Radio R & O).  If you prefer, go to the Federal Register using this link and read it directly:

Again, have a safe and enjoyable holiday season!
