FARRAR'S OBITUARY

A Private family celebration of life service for Mr. Farrar Grisham will be Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Phillip Marshall officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Grisham, 77, of Meridian, passed away Friday, May 22, 2020 at his home.

Farrar was a man dedicated to serving others. He served at the Clarkdale Volunteer Fire Department as a member and chief for many years; he went on to serve as Chief of the South Lauderdale Volunteer Fire Department for 33 years. He was also a member of REACT which became Lauderdale County Search and Rescue. He was always investing his time into his fellow man and community through his acts of service. Mr. Farrar was also a HAM radio operator. Farrar also invested into countless students as an educator at Clarkdale Attendance Center where he worked for over 30 years.

Mr. Farrar is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Marie Grisham; children, Charles Grisham; granddaughter, Katey Grisham. One brother, Wayne Grisham (Deanna), as well as a host of friends and extended family members.

Mr. Grisham is preceded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. O. K. Grisham, and step-mother, Janie Grisham as well as seven siblings.

The family request memorials be made as donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in lieu of flowers.
